Client brief

The system is used in tool grinding machines for sharpening carbide-tipped circular saw blades used in wood, plastic, and aluminum processing. The machines operate continuously under high load, with oil volumes of approximately 160–180 liters, requiring stable oil quality to ensure consistent production performance.

Challenge

This resulted in reduced machine availability, increased maintenance effort, and shorter machine tool life. A simpler and more effective oil cleaning solution was required to improve process stability, extend machine tool life, enhance machining accuracy, and maintain a cleaner workspace.

Solution

The centrifuge was replaced with a CJC® oil maintenance system 27/54 as a standalone solution. The system continuously cleans the oil through combined fine and depth filtration, operating independently of the machine and with low energy consumption. With a filtration level down to 2 µm and high dirt-holding capacity, it efficiently removes particles, water, and oxidation residues, ensuring stable oil quality and reliable operation over extended periods.
